Inauguration of SICA Academy of Performing Arts

In a grand ceremony organised at SICA School No 2 the SICA Academy of Performing Arts was inaugurated in the benign presence of Pt Kamal Kamle ,the Director of All India Radio Indore.He appreciated the initiative taken by SICA.During the innaugaration the rendition of pure Classical by Mr Tambe ,85 year old resonated with nimble note of Violin by Mr Kamle was mesmerizing experience for any music lover. The spectacular classical dance and songs presentation by students of all three branches was on this occasion mesmerised the audience.The renowned artists Dr Shashikant Tambe,Mrs Jayashree Tambe,Mr Madhukar Jagtap and Dr Ashish Pillai Gurus par excellence were present as the guests of honour.The serene and sublime presentations by the young artists of SICA added aroma to the occasion. Mr P.Babuji, President SICA Association assured that the Academy will tap hidden talent and provide platform to young artist.Dr Vijaylakshmi Iyengar expressed the committment of SICA to nurture India's rich cultural heritage.The ambience of the occasion reached to its peak of divinity with the presentation of SICA anthem.The programe was graced by the presence of Trustee Mr Kaartik Shastri,Trustee Mr .S.M.Iyer. Secretary to trust and Convenor Mr TSR Raghvan,Treasurer Trustee Dr R Sridhar Vice President Mr Suresh Iyer ,Secretary Mrs Rajeshwari,former Chairperson Mr V.S.Mani,Former Chairperson Mr S.B.S.Iyer,members of association,Principals ,Vice Principals ,Head Mistresses ,Assistant Head Mistresses , teachers from all branches of SICA ,parents and budding artists of SICA.The programe was conducted byVice Principal Mrs Prachi Garg and Vote of thanks was proposed by Secretary Mrs Rajeshwari.
